Terms and Conditions

Each patron of Backwood’s Horror Haunted House will be required to sign the below Release of Liability form prior to entering.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

• By participating in Backwood’s Horror Haunted House and associated activities, you assume all risks and hazards associated with this event, and knowingly and freely assume the risk of any personal injury, property damage, or property loss that you may suffer, incur, or sustain which could in any way be construed to be connected with your participation in the activities at Backwood’s Horror.
• This haunted attraction is meant to scare and terrify, and assumes no responsibility to how you or others around you react to such scares. 
• In addition, the trail is very uneven and by design poorly lit with many obstacles, structures, hills, sharp edges, tight spaces, and a variety of special effects including but not limited to live actors, smoke and fog machines, strobe lights, and sound effects, that are potential hazards. 
• You assume full responsibility in being fully prepared with the proper attire for such hazards including proper footwear.
• By signing this waiver you take full responsibility for your own actions and the actions of your children. Every minor must be accompanied by an adult authorized by that minor’s parent or legal guardian to sign the waiver. The responsible party signing the waiver will take full responsibility for any injuries, property loss, or nightmares suffered while attending, or as a result of attending.
• By entering the property you assume all risk and responsibilities and waive Backwood’s Horror, all actor(s) and volunteer(s), and property owner(s) of any and all responsibilities, including, but not limited to permanent impairment and/or death.
• Backwoods Horror is meant for the entertainment of its guests. By choosing to patronize Backwood’s Horror you agree that:

1. You have read and understand the above statement and agree to assume any and all risks associated with your decision to enter.
2. You agree to release Backwoods Horror, all its actor(s), vendor(s), and volunteer(s), and property owner(s) of liability for any injuries or other harm that you and/or your minor children may suffer at Backwood’s Horror.
3. You understand that if you have epilepsy, heart condition, are pregnant, have a pacemaker, or phobias of any kind that you have been advised not to enter.
4. You understand that you must follow all the rules and can be removed from location for failing to abide by these rules.
5. You understand by signing this waiver for your self and minor children that it is a binding contract between you and Backwood’s Horror.
