PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. By signing, you give up certain rights, including the right to sue.

Assumption of Risk. Backwood's Horror is a haunted attraction meant to frighten and startle. It includes uneven outdoor terrain, low or no lighting, fog/haze, strobe and flashing lights, loud noises, sudden movements, costumed actors, special effects, and confined or crowded spaces. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks — known and unknown — of participating, including bodily injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage, or death.

Health. I represent that I (and any minor I sign for) am able to participate. I understand I should not enter if I am pregnant or have a heart condition, nervous or anxiety disorder, seizure or respiratory condition, or any other condition that may be triggered or worsened by shock, fear, exertion, fog, or strobe lighting.

Rules. I agree to follow all posted rules and staff instructions:

1. Do not touch, hit, or act aggressively toward the actors. Actors will not intentionally touch you.
2. No smoking, drugs, or alcohol.
3. No photography or video inside the attraction.
4. Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.
5. Do not enter if you are pregnant.
6. Do not enter with a heart condition, nervous disorder, or other condition that may be worsened by shock and fear.
7. Management may refuse or revoke admittance at its discretion.
8. Do not touch the actors.

Release & Waiver. In consideration of being permitted to enter, I, for myself and any minor listed and our heirs and assigns, RELEASE, WAIVE, AND DISCHARGE Backwood's Horror and its owners, operators, organizers, property owners, employees, volunteers, actors, and agents (the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action for any loss, injury, illness, emotional distress, death, or property damage arising out of my/our participation, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost (including attorneys' fees) arising from my/our participation or violation of the rules.

Media Consent. I grant permission to use photos, video, or audio of me/us on the premises for promotional purposes without compensation.

Governing Law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
